First Appearance |
Patch is a character in Kaiba who appears in "Abipa, The Promised Planet."
Abilities[]
Patch's tail is an electrical cord that must be plugged in at his original lab in order for him to acquire energy. His "battery life" is brief, and Quilt is tasked with dragging him to the lab when he needs to recharge. If his energy is completely drained he loses all memories since the last charge.
Appearance[]
Patch has a bipedal patchwork body with cat ears. There's a blue 8 on his forehead, and sewn in belt. He doesn't have fingers, his hands are more of mittens.
History[]
Patch has been toiling away at his work for several hundred years, and every moment within the original lab is recorded by a camera resting on a shelf. His scientist assistant set up the camera, and it filmed her entire life spent working with and helping Patch. After she dies, Patch quickly loses energy and remains inactive and is awoken many years later.
Because of his chronic amnesia, Patch has no recollection of his innumerable failed attempts to "right the wrongs" of Abipan society. He remembers creating Quilt's body in detail but has no recollection of his assistant or former workplace.
Personality[]
Patch is very passionate and emotional. He cares deeply for his work, to the point that he pays almost no attention to anything else. Patch's intensity and dedication is manifested in seemingly frantic and scatterbrained behavior.
